Hiya!
So, I've been EXTREMELY busy and was not able to build the buffer I'd hoped to start my issue today properly.

The main thing that has taken my time has been trying to get the comic hosting site Drunk Duck live again. I started on DD back in 2007 with Prologue and still enjoy the community there.
I volunteered to help rebuild the server so the site could come back.
And I succeeded!
Now I didn't know Python so after that Jamey from Comic Rocket aided to get the coding part of the site going again. And voila! DD is resurrected and in community control so we can begin improving the site.

The other thing that has been taking more time is that my wife is pregnant. And the baby should be here by the end of November. Those 2 things made this a hectic 3 week hiatus!

HOWEVER!
I am still going to start updating!
Today's page(s) are old covers I had made for this issue back in 2010. I have since changed the story and revamped the covers. Thursday the new cover will go live. It'll be the revamped "hand slicing page" cover.

This issue is going to be a 2 sided "flip book" in print. Meaning you would get 2 comics in one. You would turn the book over for the 2nd story.

Online what this means is that this will be a placeholder page. Once both halves of issue 1 are completed these images will be moved to the JNP Art section and the new images will be placed here allowing you to choose either issue you wish to read 1st.

Of course while I'm actually updating this issue you'll have to read 1 side as I finish it. Then the 2nd side will follow. I racked my brain trying to think of a good way to alternate updates or give alternative pages and whatnot but couldn't think of anything.

Until I build enough buffer I will have to update once per week for now. I apologize for the delay.

Cute covers. :3
Looks interesting.
Indeed it will be! Though I could be bias =p
Good job on the Duck to all of yah
Thanks, the work's not completely finished yet bu a long shot!
Yayyy! It's back!
With a vengeance!!!
Great covers. And good work on saving The Duck from internet purgatory.
Thank you! And the duck is still in critical atm, but we are hoping for the best!
